Viewpoints Industry and What Happens to Your Online Life After You’re Gone?

Many of us know what will happen to our possessions, pets and mementos after we leave this life. There are wills and estate papers to sort that all out. But Viewpoints Industry asks what happens to your online life after you’re gone?

When an acquaintance was suddenly taken from this life not long ago, his Facebook and Twitter accounts stayed active. His many friends, colleagues and family members were grateful for that. It gave everyone a chance to pay homage and let his family know how much we all admired him and loved him. But the social media sites we all love to connect on have their own policies about what to do with the accounts when a user dies.

The Uniform Law Commission, (members are appointed by state governments to help standardize state laws), will soon endorse a plan that will give loved ones access to - but not control of - the deceased's digital accounts, unless specified otherwise in a will. It is therefore, a good idea to have written instructions in a will about who should have access to online accounts. Whoever is chosen can deactivate accounts or make other decisions about what to do with them.

Viewpoints Industry also reminds readers that most online accounts accessed by sharing the passwords. Perhaps this is a safer idea than attaching a sheet with log in credentials to a will, which can become public information. It’s up to you. Who do you want to access the files from your digital life when you expire?

Viewpoints Industry TV and How to Stay Cool This Summer

It current weather conditions are telling, this summer promises to be a scorcher across the country. Viewpoints Industry TV shares suggestions on how to stay cool this summer.

Sometimes, just looking at the morning weather forecast is all we need to know that it is going to be another sweltering day. Fortunately, there are ways to stay cool when the mercury keeps going up and up.

Go to the movies for the matinee. Enjoy someone else’s air conditioning and see a movie while there. There is an added bonus that this screening is usually less expensive than the evening screenings. Double coolness.

Take a cool shower and stand under a ceiling fan to cool off and dry. Please be sure the curtains or blinds are closed when doing so.

Put pillowcases in the freezer a little bit before going bed. It is easier to get to sleep when there is something cool under the head.

Viewpoints Industry suggests to eat to for the heat. Make and enjoy cool meals like fun salads, cold pasta dishes and refreshing beverages like cherry lemonade. Drink plenty of water too. Staying hydrated is a great way to cool off.

Finally, do as they do in the South – put a spoon or knife in the freezer. Take it out after an hour or so and press is on pulse points like the neck and wrists. Stay cool and refreshed this summer, readers!

Viewpoints Industry Host and Wanna-Be Evangelist Terry Bradshaw on Late-Late Night TV

Any fan of Terry Bradshaw will tell you it is worth it to stay up late and watch him when he’s a guest of late-night talk shows. On a very recent Craig Ferguson show, our classically handsome, always smiling and joking host cracks the audience up talking about wanting to go to Baylor University and become and evangelist. After all, he is always saying “can I get an Amen to that?!” when co-hosting on Fox Sports. We at Viewpoints Industry TV also saw and heard Terry tell a skinny robot that he looked like actor Kevin Bacon. But of course, he was just kidding and meant no offense. That’s our host Terry. Always making people laugh and not afraid to just be himself. And that’s why love the man.
